Car Seat Inspection Day 2019 a Success

We had our 8th Annual Free Child Car Seat Inspection event on Saturday October 19, 2019 and we are happy to say it was another great day.

We started this tradition long ago, wanting to do something to give back to the community that we do business in.   According the the National Highway Transportation Authority, car crashes are a leading cause of death for children 1 to 13, and that 325 children under 5 were saved by car seats in 2017 alone.  We knew we wanted to jump in and do what we could to help.

"We could not have done it without the generous support of a few people that enjoy doing this for our community.  We have to thank Officers Judy Racow and Rob Carter from the Winthrop Police Department, and Stephanie Long as well.  All 3 of these volunteers hold a Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician," according to Christine O'Keefe from Elliot Whittier Insurance.  "I also need to thank Nicole Griffin who came down from our Danvers office to help out."

We also gave away a $25 Gift Certificate to BlackStrap BBQ Restaurant.  The winner is Katie McGee!  Pictures from the day are below!
